ACU-CARE AND OUR MEMBERS SHARE A GOAL TO INTRODUCE TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE INTO TODAY’S MANAGED CARE ENVIRONMENT

Operating in California and New Mexico, Acu-Care is an acupuncture network corporation that credentials and lists acupuncturists in preferred provider directories of the insurance industry. Created by acupuncturists for acupuncturists, our knowledge of the profession and dedication to consistently high standards for both business management and health care practices ensures a membership of highly qualified providers.

For our members…

… AcuCare offers a direct link between the acupuncturist and the insurance company.  We offer strong contracts with leading insurance providers, and have negotiated some of the highest direct reimbursement rates available.  We do not take a percentage of reimbursements, which helps providers keep their services affordable.  We also offer seminars on issues related to business management and health care.  Our membership retention and strong and consistent growth is a testament to the success of the AcuCare business strategy.

For health care insurers…

… AcuCare conducts a credentialing program that ensures the quality and legitimacy of our membership.  This includes verification of all applicable licenses, certificates and permits, along with physical inspection of offices and treatment spaces to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and security.  This, along with consistently high audit scores, has helped AcuCare establish a solid reputation in the managed care industry.  Our members have become a primary resource for many well-respected health insurance providers.

 For health care consumers…

… AcuCare has helped open the doors to a broader range of health management options, and is working to keep them affordable.  By negotiating with health insurance companies to accept and incorporate acupuncture into their coverage plans, more Americans are gaining the benefits of complementary therapies like acupuncture.  And, by negotiating good reimbursement rates and by not taking a percentage of each claim, we help maintain lower deductibles and out-of-pocket costs.
