"I have always encouraged California Acupuncturists to join the Acu-care network, as their contracted rates for Cigna are the best.  I also like that they are transparent with their rates.  Most other networks require you to do the paperwork to be contracted and then AFTER you have completed the paperwork, they send the allowed amounts back with the contract.  This level of transparency is unheard of in this industry and should be appreciated by all practitioners.  Finally with other network options - it's ALL or nothing, to be in their PPO, you also have to accept and be in their HMO, and other low paying plans.  Acu-care offers seven different payors.  You can join one or all, it's up to the provider."
